Most Glow Boy pellet stove models will use a 5/8″ round rope door gasket, part numbers AGDRGA60 and KS-5060-1160. This gasket creates the seal from the firebox door to the stove body/frame. It's important to check your door gasket during your routine maintenance to ensure it's making a proper seal. With the stove off, use a dollar bill and place half in and half out of the door. Close the door and see how much resistance there is when pulling the dollar bill out. Check in multiple places around the door; there should be heavy resistance all the way around. If any areas have little or no resistance that is a good indication that your door gasket needs to be replaced. When it comes time to replace, follow along with our general guide video below.

Some Glow Boy pellet stoves will use a 3/4″ flat tape style gasket, part KS-5060-1151 for the glass gasket seal, where other models will use a 3/8″ round rope gasket, part numbers ACGLGA and KS-5060-1150 for the glass gasket seal. The glass gasket creates the seal from the glass to the firebox door. We recommend replacing the glass gasket when there are notable signs of wear, frays, or air-gaps. If the glass is removed for any reason, the manufacturer recommends replacement of the gasket. The ash pan door gasket for most Glow Boy pellet stoves will also be a 3/4″ flat gasket, part numbers AGADGA and KS-5060-1200. When the time comes to replace your glass gasket, see our installation guide video below.

The Glow Boy combustion blower/exhaust fan will use an oblong mount gasket KS-5060-1170 for the seal from the motor housing to the stove exhaust manifold. It is recommended that this gasket is replaced each time the combustion blower assembly is removed for cleaning/maintenance. We also offer a gasket sheet to trace and cut your own motor gaskets.
