Genuine OEM Pellethead PoBoy temperature gun, part number PH-PBTEMPGUN. The temperature gun is used to ensure the pizza stone is up to proper temperature before sliding the pizza in. The temperature of the stone will often vary from the temperature of the oven. For best pizza results, we recommend having the stone at 650 to 800 degrees Fahrenheit before the pizza is placed on it. The PoBoy temperature gun is infrared for pin-point temp readings and easily switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit reading modes. A 9-Volt battery is used to power the temperature gun and is included. We recommend checking multiple spots on the stone as temperature can vary from the edges to the middle.
