ASH VACUUM GUIDE FOR CARE & PARTS OVERVIEW:
- Wheel Kit: The first part of the ash vacuum that you’ll unbox is the wheel kit, which will fit right on to the bottom of the vacuum. You will see the 4 clips to lock in the vacuum to the wheel kit (rotate the vacuum around and you will feel it snap into place).
- 10-Foot Long Cord: Your vacuum will come with a quality, standard ten foot long cord to allow for easy mobility while vacuuming out your stove, fireplace, or grill.
- HEPA Filter: The filter, along with the vacuum itself, can handle warm ashes up to 140°F. For cleaning the filter, we recommend using a dry paintbrush to clean the inside and outside. You can also use compressed air to clean it. After a longer period of time and with more ash accumulation, we recommend replacing the HEPA filter altogether (we have replacement filters available on our website).
- Pre-Filter: Located inside the ash vacuum is the pre-filter, which is also fire-retardant. It has a circular, snug fit, which rests along the rim of the top of the vacuum.
- Hose: The interior of the hose is lined with metal to resist damage from possible warm ash. The outside is designed from a flexible plastic to make vacuuming easy to maneuver. For connecting to the vacuum, you’ll connect it via a simple turn-and-lock.
- Accessories: Various attachments are available. For example, we have the aluminum tube to use for whenever you know you’re working with larger-sized, still-warm ashes. The crevice tool is for accessing smaller areas within your stove or fireplace. We also have the brush tool, which is great for brushing off any ash on your door gasket and other gaskets. If you need a more gentle attachment for more delicate surfaces, the brush tool is your best bet.

We received a complimentary ash vault pro when we purchased our stove from you last Spring. With the cooler weather arriving, we just now took the vac out of the carton. My husband broke one wheel assembly trying to install the wheel. The wheel housing will no longer accept the wheel. Can we purchase a replacement base part and a new wheel?

I have an ash vault mini and can’t figure out what the shorter clear hose is used for and how to use it. I couldn’t find anything in the instruction book about it only to say it’s there. Thank you

The smaller clear hose is perfect for accessing and cleaning out tighter areas such as the ash traps in a stove, heat exchange tube area, and exhaust manifold area.
