GMG Daniel Boone Prime and Ledge Prime pull rod
Genuine OEM Green Mountain Grills Replacement. This heat shield pull rod is designed for the Daniel Boone Prime, Daniel Boone Prime Plus, and Original Ledge Prime models, part number P-1231. If you have a Ledge Prime 2.0, please see part number P-1736. The heat shield pull rod threads into the heat shield baffle allowing adjustment for the heat shield placement. Adjusting the heat shield can help direct your flame and heat based on your situation and cook; if adjusting during operation, be sure to have high heat gloves on. The heat shield is placed over the burnpot, designed to disperse the flame and heat of the fire. The pull rod will be placed on the right side when facing the grill going from the exterior to the interior. We recommend periodic cleaning of the heat shield; an ash vacuum and dry paintbrush work great for general maintenance. When unthreading the pull rod for cleaning and maintenance, it can be helpful to re-grease the threads when reinstalling.
