Thank you for your great videos.
My control box flashes amber 3 blinks etc. Manual says replace thermocouple. Replaced thermocouple. Blinking stopped but still won’t feed pellets once ignited. Any thoughts?
I have purchased from you.
Hi Richard,
Thanks for the message, happy to help. Let’s make sure the thermocouple is far enough over the burnpot – we want the ceramic cover to bottom out on the thermocouple tip. Just to test if it’s a heat issue, let’s toss an additional half-handful of pellets into the firepot before start-up. This will ensure we are reaching the temp needed to lock it in. If it does lock in doing this, let’s empty out the hopper, pull the hopper slide up, and remove any fines that could be causing restriction in the auger shaft. If it does not lock in after doing this, let’s double check electrical connections. Just to test, reverse the electrical connections and see if anything changes. Keep us posted, we’ll make sure you are taken care of. Thanks.
Ok so I installed my t-coupler I went underneath where the ash pan is. Now I get a missed ignition and the burn pot door is open and no closing is happening every time I hit the rest
What did I do wrong
Thanks for for contacting us Joe. If the burnpot porkchop bottom is not closing properly you will get a missed ignition every time. Let’s take a close look at the burnpot linkage. guide video here: https://youtu.be/ilOTLvmH06c?si=OKDbBDaOw3zynBrN
Let’s also double check the thermocouple installation – guide video here: https://youtu.be/Hjs3KhP9ntI?si=1DDJlOVD0AFPL1qc
