GMG Trek Prime 2.0 Heat Shield Pull Rod

Genuine OEM Green Mountain Grills Replacement. This heat shield pull rod is designed for the Trek Prime 2.0 model, part number P-1737. If you have the Trek Prime original model, please see part number P-1144. The heat shield pull rod threads into the heat shield baffle allowing adjustment for the heat shield placement. Adjusting the heat shield can help direct your flame and heat based on your situation and cook; if adjusting during operation, be sure to have high heat gloves on. The heat shield is placed over the burnpot, designed to disperse the flame and heat of the fire. The pull rod will be placed on the right side when facing the grill going from the exterior to the interior. We recommend periodic cleaning of the heat shield; an ash vacuum and dry paintbrush work great for general maintenance. When unthreading the pull rod for cleaning and maintenance, it can be helpful to re-grease the threads when reinstalling.
