Highest Quality Pellethead Replacement 12V thermal sensor for Green Mountain Grills (GMG). The thermal sensor detects the interior temperature of the grill communicating with the control board to hold the preset temperature selected. This thermal sensor is the correct replacement for GMG part numbers P12V-1009 and P-1209. If there are inconsistencies with your internal grill temperature from where you have the temperature set on the control board, in most cases this would be an issue with the thermal sensor. We recommend routing cleaning of the thermal sensor; fine steel wool or a scotch brite pad work well in cleaning off build-up on the sensor.
