Genuine OEM Green Mountain Grills Replacement. The newest style heat shield is designed for all the full size GMG grills with a centrally located burn pot. Green Mountain Grills part number P-1721. The heat shield baffle is placed over the burnpot designed to disperse the flame and heat of the fire. We recommend periodic cleaning; an ash vacuum and dry paintbrush work great for general maintenance. If the heat shield has become warped or has burn-throughs, we recommend replacement.
