- Remove the grates, grease baffle tray, and fire baffle from your grill.
- Insert the pizza oven attachment into the grill, making sure the oven’s snout seats into the burnpot for direct flame exposure.
- The heat will circulate around the pizza stone and dome, creating the perfect environment for baking authentic pizzas.
Cooking with the Universal Pizza Oven Attachment:
To get the most out of your pizza-making experience, we recommend using an infrared temperature gun. This tool helps you ensure that the pizza stone reaches the optimal temperature range of 650°F to 850°F. Achieving this temperature is important for cooking Neapolitan or Artisan-style pizzas to perfection.
- Preheat time: It takes about 15-20 minutes for the stone to reach the proper temperature.
- Cooking time: Once preheated, pizzas will cook in under 5 minutes.
- Pizza size: The oven opening is ideal for 12″ pizzas.
- Versatility: Beyond pizza, you can also use a cast iron skillet to cook steaks, chicken, veggies, and even desserts like apple crisp!
