The Heat N' Glo NorthStar Fireplace will use convection fan 812-4900. Also referred to as the distribution blower, this fan circulates air through the heat exchange tubes dispersing the warm air into the room. We recommend regular inspection and cleaning of the blower; a dry paint brush and compressed air works very well in removing the dust and debris from the motor windings and impeller wheels. As this blower weakens over time, we will often notice reduced air flow, abnormal noises during operation, and/or failure of the motor.
Gasket seals are vital to the safety and efficiency of your Heat N' Glo woodstove. We offer the 1/4″ round gasket for the NorthStar Fireplace, part number 834-1460. We also offer the 3/4″ round rope gasket for Heat N' Glo FT-210BK, FT-210GD, FT-300BK, FT-300GD, WS-150-L, WS-150-P, WS-250-L, and WS-250-P models. Regularly check and inspect your gasket seals during your routine maintenance and replace when there are signs of wear, fray, or air gaps.
