Breckwell pellet stoves used two different primary control boards/circuit boards throughout manufacturer. The 1 RPM digital touch pad control board is designed for models manufactured in 2002 to current, part numbers C-E-401, 610326, and A-E-401. The 4 RPM digital touch pad control board is designed for models manufactured in 2001 and previous, part number A-E-301. You can view our model specs on each of these control boards to see serial number cut-offs for applicable models. You can also verify your auger motor RPM to see if it's a 1 RPM or 4 RPM motor being used in your model. The control board essentially controls all functions of your Breckwell pellet stove. We highly recommend the use of a surge protector of at least 1000 joules to ensure voltage spikes and surges don't harm or damage your control board.

We also offer both the 1 RPM control board decal faceplate and the 4 RPM control board decal faceplate. Overtime the decal can get worn, cracked, or difficult to read. The 1 RPM control board decal will be part numbers C-L-401 and 852266. The 4 RPM control board decal will be part numbers C-L-301 and 852721.

There are two different vacuum air switches depending on your Breckwell pellet stove model. Vacuum air switch part C-E-201 and 80621 will be correct for Breckwell P20 Cadet, P2000 Tahoe, P2000I Tahoe Insert, P22 Maverick, P22I Maverick Insert, P23 Sonora, P23I Sonora Insert, P24 Blazer, P24I Blazer Insert, P26 Cadet, P2700 Mojave, P28, P28i, P32I Cadet, P4000 Classic Cast, P7000 Solstice, SP1000 Big E, and SP6000 Heartland Multi-Fuel models. We offer OEM and aftermarket replacements for this switch. Vacuum switch part number 80549 will be the correct replacement for the Breckwell SP1002 Big E ll and SP8500 models. We offer an aftermarket replacement for this vacuum switch.

The vacuum switch/air switch is detecting air pressure in your firebox and in your exhaust flue vent. Air blockages or air losses will cause this switch to trip and not allow power to the auger feed motor. If you are having an issue with your vacuum/air switch tripping, perform a thorough cleaning of your stove and exhaust vent pipe, check your door, ash door, glass, and combustion blower gasket seals to ensure they are making tight seals, inspect your vacuum/air switch hose tubing connection and look for any cracks or breaks, and check your combustion blower to for proper voltage output. Check out our videos below to learn more about the vacuum switch and troubleshooting.

For low limit safety sensor limit switches, also referred to as snap discs or thermodiscs, we offer the the F110 low limit switch, part 80381 which is correct for the Breckwell SP6000 Heartland manufactured in 2012 to current, and the F110 ceramic low limit proof of fire switch, part 80610 and C-E-090-22C which is correct for Breckwell P20 Cadet, P2000 Tahoe, P22 Maverick, P23 Sonora, P24 Blazer, P26 Cadet, P2700 Mojave, P28, P32I Cadet, P4000 Classic Cast, and SP6000 Heartland Multi-Fuel models manufactured prior to 2012. This switch is mounted on the combustion blower/exhaust fan motor housing. As the stove heats up, this switch will close allowing the auger motor to run in normal operating mode. As the stove is shutdown, this switch will re-open shutting off power to the combustion blower/exhaust fan once the unit is cool enough.

The high limit switch is normally closed and will open if temperatures exceed the pre-determined limit shutting down power to the auger feed motor. Common reasons for the high limit switch to trip would be a failing/failed convection fan blower, firebox getting to hot/fire going up the pellet drop chute, or a weak/failing switch. If you are experiencing high limit switch issues, perform a thorough cleaning of your stove and vent and double check the operation of your convection fan/distribution blower. The Breckwell C-E-090-21 high limit switch is a 300 degree auto-reset snap switch and is correct for Breckwell P20 Cadet, P2000 Tahoe, P22 Maverick, P23 Sonora, P24 Blazer, P26 Cadet, P2700 Mojave, P28, P4000 Classic Cast, and SP6000 Heartland Multi-Fuel models. Learn more about limit switches in our video below.
