We carry two different vacuum switches for Englander, Summers Heat, and Timber Ridge pellet stove models. Our replacement for part number PU-VS will be correct for the 25-PDV, 25-PDVC, 25-PI, 55-SHP10, 55-SHP20, 55-SHP22, 55-TRP10, and 55-TRP20. Important to note that models manufactured in 2006 to current use 1-CU-VS and 1-PU-VS switch and models manufactured in 2005 and previous will use 2 -PU-VS switches.

The vacuum switch is a safety sensor detecting pressure in the firebox and exhaust vent flue pipe. Any air losses or air blockages can trip the vacuum switch and shut down power to the auger feed motor. When inspecting or replacing your vacuum switch, carefully inspect the tubing hose and replace if there are cracks or if it has become brittle. Learn more about vacuum switches in our video below.

We offer a premium replacement for the Englander, Summers Heat, and Timber Ridge control board heat sensor, part PU-CBHS. This sensor is a safety device; if there is an issue with overheating in the appliance or with the heat sensor itself the auger feed motor will not operate.
