Select Heatilator gas stove and fireplace models will use a low limit switch and a high limit switch. Low limit switches are normally open and will close once they meet the determined temperature. High limit switches are normally closed and will open if temperatures exceed the determined heat rating. Learn more about limit switches in our video below.
