NUFLEX N-302-ALUMI RTV Silicone Sealant, 10.1oz Tube

• Composition: It is a medium modulus, one-component, acetoxy (vinegar scent) cure silicone sealant.
• Color: Aluminum.
• Adhesion: It adheres well to many non-porous construction substrates, including clean metal, glass, wood, ceramic, laminates, and most plastics.
• Durability: The cured sealant forms a tough, rubbery, permanently flexible, and watertight bond that is resistant to weathering, vibration, moisture, ozone, and extreme temperatures (effective from -46°C to 150°C, or -50°F to 302°F).
• Certifications: It is a low VOC product that is GREENGUARD GOLD Certified and certified by the NSF (National Sanitation Foundation).
• Basic Uses: Common applications include general repairs, forming in-place gaskets (where there is no oil contact), sealing duct joints, weather stripping, and sealing around sinks, basins, showers, and tubs.
• Limitations: This sealant may corrode or may not adhere to certain metals such as copper, brass, magnesium, zinc, and galvanized metals due to its acetic properties. It is also not recommended for use on most porous substrates like concrete or natural stones such as marble and granite, as it may cause staining or bond failure.
