| Installation Notes | Existing fan impeller wheel and blower housing will be used with this kit. This is a replacement Convection Fan Motor Kit. We use this same motor kit for the combustion exhaust fan on multiple stoves. With certain pellet stove models and most Breckwell stove models, the motor will line right up to your existing 3 stud mount on the blowers housing. For stove models with a 4 or 5 stud mount, you will be required to use the adapter plate and self tapping screws provided. For units that require the adapter plate, simply center the adapter plate over the mount opening in the room air blower and secure in place with the provided screws (DRILL will be required.) The new motor will attach to the adapter plate. Simple wire connection to the existing - Green wire is a ground, if your unit doesn't have an existing ground wire then it doesn't need to be connected. Lubrication such as WD40 can be helpful in removing the fan paddle wheel/impeller. In most units an Allen wrench or Torx bit will be needed to remove fan paddle. Re-tighten paddle on the flat edge of the shaft on the new motor. |
