For the Harman gas stove and fireplace models specified, this will be the limit safety switch that allows the blower to turn on once the unit reaches operating temperature. This is a 140 degree ceramic limit switch that is normally open. This switch will close when temperatures exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit and reopen when the switch drops below 120 degrees Fahrenheit. This will be the correct replacement for part number 3-20-49812. If your stove is having an issue with the convection/room air blower turning on after start-up or if the blowers operation is intermittent, we suggest inspecting/replacing this safety snap switch.
