Ashley and King 5500, AP5660L, AP5780B, AP5780PS, AP5780SS, AP60 and KP60 pellet stove models along with Ashley AF700, AW180, and AW740 woodstove models will use a 3/4″ diameter firebox door rope gasket, part number 88082. Ashley and King 5500M, 5500XL, 5510, AP5710, and AP5770 pellet stove models will use a 5/8″ diameter firebox door rope gasket, part numbers 88066, 88112. The firebox door rope gasket creates the seal from the door to the stove body/frame. For safety and performance it is vital to ensure your door gasket is making a tight seal all the way around. Routinely inspect your door gasket and replace when there are notable signs of wear, fray, poor seal, or air gaps. Follow along with our general installation guide video when the time comes to replace.

Ashley and King 5500, 5500M, 5500XL, 5501S, 5510, AP130, AP5770, and AP5790 pellet stove models along with Ashley woodstove models AF700 and AW740, and King woodstove models 2007B Plate Steel and 2016EB will use a 3/4″ wide flat 'tape-style' gasket for the firebox door glass gasket seal, part numbers WG02, 88087. The glass gasket creates the seal from the glass to the door. Inspect this gasket regularly and replace when there are notable signs of wear, brittleness, fray, or air gaps. Follow along with our general installation guide video below when the time comes to replace.

The Ashley and King combustion blower, also referred to as the exhaust fan or draft motor, will use two gasket seals. There will be a 6″ round gasket that goes from the motor to the housing, part number 88148, and an oblong gasket, part numbers 88100, 88166, that creates the seal from the housing to the exhaust manifold. We recommend these gaskets are routinely inspected and replaced when the blower motor is removed for cleaning, maintenance, service, or when there is notable wear, cracks, or breaks in the gasket.

The 'snail-style' convection fan, also referred to as the distribution blower or room-air fan, for the Ashley AP5770 and AP5790 models will use a mount gasket, part 88167. This gasket creates the seal from the blower to the stoves air-port. Same as the combustion blower gasket, we recommend replacement every time the blower fan is removed and/or when there are notable signs of wear, breaks, or splits in the gasket. If you are looking to save a few bucks, we offer a 12″ x 24″ gasket sheet to trace and cut your own blower/fan/motor gaskets; click here to take a closer look. This gasket sheet also works great for the King 5500, 5500M, 5500XL, and 5510 igniter flange plate gasket, part 88118.
