For the Ashley APC4000 model we offer the two-piece burnpot assembly, part numbers A-S-070-I and A-S-Burnpot. For Ashley and King 5500, 5500M, 5500XL, 5510, AP130, AP5770, AP5780B, AP5780PS, AP5780SS, AP5790, and KP130 models we offer the stainless steel burnpot, part number 86624. Also referred to as the firepot, burn grate, or fire grate weldment, the burnpot is where the pellet fuel burns during operation. Depending on the grade of pellet fuel and frequency of use will determine how often to clean the burnpot. For proper combustion air flow we want to make sure ash blockage and clinker build-up is removed from the burnpot, all burnpot holes are open, and the burnpot is seated properly. Inspect your burnpot regularly and replace when there are cracks, breaks, burn-throughs, or warpage.

The 891141 auger feed shaft will be correct for Ashley and King 5500, 5500M, 5500XL, 5510, AP130, AP5790, and KP130 models. We offer this auger shaft in both OEM and aftermarket replacement options. The Ashley AP5660L pellet stove model will use auger shaft 891999 as the correct replacement. The auger shaft is connected to the auger motor and is responsible for churning the pellet fuel up the feed shaft and dropping the pellet fuel into the burnpot. We recommend vacuuming accumulated fines out of the fuel hopper after each ton of pellets is burned. Annually we recommend pulling out the auger shaft and performing a thorough cleaning and inspection. As the auger shaft wears down we will often notice abnormal noises as it rotates, frequent auger jams, and inconsistency with fuel delivery.

The Ashley AP5770 pellet stove model will use a brass agitator bushing, part number 891132. Over time this bushing will wear and create 'slop' or 'play' causing complications with the agitator motor and stirrer operation. If you are noticing clunking or inconsistencies with your agitator stir rod rotation, we recommend you inspect the brass bushing and replace if there are notable signs of wear.
