Gasket

The MagnuM Essex models will use a 5/8″ round rope gasket for sealing the firebox door to the stove frame/body. The Baby Countryside, T40, Winchester, and Winchester insert will use a 1/2″ x 4' round rope gasket replacing part numbers RP2100 and R0080. Countryside 3500i, 3500L, 3500P, 3502 Insert, Queen Ann Leg, and Countryside TLC models will also use a 1/2″ round rope gasket replacing part number R0028.

Our gasket kits includes high temperature sealant and replaces the original factory gasket seal. Over time the door gasket will wear and create air leakage which will affect your fire, efficiency, ignition, and can trip the vacuum switch not allowing the auger motor to run. Regularly inspect your door gasket to ensure it's making a tight seal all the way around. When you need to replace, follow along with our installation video.

The MagnuM Baby Countryside, Countryside 3500L, Countryside 3500P, Countryside 3502 Insert, and Countryside TLC models will use a 1/2″ wide tape gasket for the ash pan door seal. Having a proper seal on the ash pan door is critical for proper combustion and safety. Be sure to check this gasket during your routine maintenance and replace this gasket when it has notable signs of wear, fray, or air gaps. For the Countryside Queen Ann Leg, it will use this 1/2″ tape style gasket on the exhaust manifold.

The MagnuM combustion blower, also referred to as the exhaust fan or draft motor, will have two gasket seals. The first is a 6″ round gasket that goes from the motor to the housing. The second is an oblong gasket that goes from the housing to the stove manifold. When removing your combustion blower exhaust fan motor, check these gasket seals and replace them when worn or cracked.
