St. Croix pellet and corn stoves will use a round rope door gasket for sealing the firebox door to the stove frame/body. Depending on the St. Croix model you have, there are 5/8″ and 7/8″ replacement door rope gasket kits. Be sure to verify your model and/or part number to ensure you receive the correct replacement. Over time the door gasket will wear and create air leakage which will affect your fire, efficiency, and can trip the vacuum switch not allowing the auger motor to run. Regularly inspect your door gasket to ensure it's making a tight seal all the way around. When you need to replace, follow along with our installation video.

St. Croix stoves will have a gasket that is applied to the glass that creates the seal from the glass to the door. There are 5/8″, 3/4″, and 1″ glass gasket options depending on your St. Croix model. Most of these will be a flat or tape style gasket except for the Pepin which uses a specialty rope gasket for the glass. Same as our firebox door gasket, it's very important this gasket seal is tight all the way around during operation. Visually inspect the glass gasket during your routine maintenance, and replace when there is notable wear, fray, or air-gaps.

The St. Croix combustion blower, also referred to as the exhaust fan or draft motor, will have two gasket seals. The first is a 6″ round gasket that goes from the motor to the housing. The second is an oblong gasket that goes from the housing to the stove manifold. When removing your combustion blower exhaust fan motor, check these gasket seals and replace them when worn or cracked.  The convection fan, also known as the distribution blower, will have a rectangular mount gasket from the motor housing to the air channel in the stove. Always make sure this gasket is in-tact for proper heat circulation into the room.
