USSC High Limit Thermodisc Safety Switch
Highest Quality Pellethead Replacement United States Stove Company (USSC) high limit Therm-O-Disc. This T-Disc is often referred to as the high limit switch or overheat safety switch. This is an L250-40F snap switch, recessed mount. This switch is normally closed and will open if temperatures exceed 250 degrees Fahrenheit. This is an auto-reset switch and will reclose automatically once temperatures drop to the determined limit. This switch is in-line with your auger feed motor and will break electrical connection to the auger motor if it trips. If you are experiencing issues with your high limit switch tripping, we recommend performing a thorough cleaning of your stove and venting, as well as inspecting your convection fan (room-air blower) to ensure it is running properly to disperse the heat from the stove. Our high limit switch is the correct replacement for Ashley AP5710, AP5780, King 5501s, and American Harvest 6033, 6035, and 6037 pellet and multi-fuel stove models.
