Genuine OEM St. Croix replacement combustion blower, exhaust fan motor assembly. This is St. Croix’s newest design as replacement for part numbers 80P20001-R, 80P30521-R, and 80P31093-R. The combustion motor assembly includes the sealed bearing motor, round motor gasket, deep lug fan paddle impeller, hardware, and pigtail splitter wire. You will utilize the existing combustion blower housing. If your existing St. Croix combustion fan has three wires, you will use the pigtail splitter wire during installation. We highly recommend replacing the combustion blower housing gasket for proper seal during installation.
The combustion blower, also commonly referred to as the exhaust fan or draft motor, pulls air through the burnpot, up past the heat exchange tubes, down the rear firewall, forcing the exhaust gases out of the flue vent pipe. We recommend routine cleaning of the combustion blower, blower housing, and exhaust vent pipe for proper performance. As the combustion blower becomes weak over time, we will often notice abnormal noise during operation, poor voltage output resulting in a lazy/sooty fire, and/or not being able to produce enough pressure to lock in the vacuum switch during the start-up cycle.
