The auger shaft churns fuel into the burnpot based on your heat selection settings. The Harman auger shaft has the bearing built in. If you are experiencing squealing, grinding, inconsistent fuel delivery, or frequent auger jams, inspect your auger shaft and replace if needed. This is for Harman and Heatilator Eco-Choice models with the UL feed system. The UL feed system will have a feeder body/sawdust clean-out access door that measures approx. 5″ high x 3.5″ wide. The Earlier Harman feed system will have a feeder body/sawdust clean-out access door that measures approx. 7″ high x 4.5″ wide. Please see our model notes for serial number verification.
