Highest Quality Pellethead Replacement Quadra-Fire Replacement Ceramic Igniter Element.
The ceramic igniter was used in early Quadra-Fire 800 Nova, 1000, and 1100i pellet stove and insert models. This will be the correct replacement for these models that have the original ceramic burnpot. If you have the EZ-Clean cast iron burnpot in your model, you will require the loop style igniter element, part 812-3811. If you are have troubles with ignition, the igniter ohms can be checked with a multi-meter.
>>>See our video below to learn more about testing the igniter element.<<< Keep in mind that any air loss or air blockage can prevent the proper air-flow around the igniter to light the pellets. It’s always a good idea to clean out excess ash in the stove, ash traps, and exhaust vent piping in addition to checking all gasket seals.
This replacement element will have a plastic molex connector for the electrical connection to the lead wires. If your model uses ceramic wire nuts, simply snip of the molex and use your existing ceramic wire nuts for connection. If you need to order new ceramic wire nuts please click here. When installing this igniter, it is very important that you do not touch the black heating element with your bare skin. The oils from your skin will penetrate the element and cause the igniter to burn or break. The manufacturer warranty does NOT cover breakage.
